New York Family Business Center

The New York Family Business Center is a not for profit organization providing tools and resources specific to family businesses in Upstate New York in a nurturing and confidential environment. 

The Center was founded in 2009 by Tom Donahue and others who shared a vision of helping family businesses succeed from generation to generation. Donahue Financial Management Group is an Underwriter of NYFBC and Tom is currently serving a second term as board chair.

The Center has many benefits including monthly member roundtables, an annual family education day in June, breakfast and dinner meetings, and in the Fall of 2011 a four week Family Business Bootcamp in conjunction with the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
